More Summer
INFO
This is be sweet's second work for GC Aesthetics. We seek to vindicate the right of women to peacefully enjoy their bodies without being judged or censored, all with a modern and cheerful tone.
The stickers, made by the Brazilian artist Paula Cruz, were thought to include everyone in our protest without losing the summer vibe.

#BOOBSTICKERS

The Process

Rather than just talk about their product, Gc Aesthetics has always wanted to be in the avant-garde of the fight for women rights and gender equality. Their product is for those women who want to feel better with themselves, but not only through surgery. Bearing in mind this idea, there are times when it's necessary to turn down some social standards. This campaign had to have an impact, it had to go viral so the support to the feminine cause became real. That's why from beX we came up with the idea of the stickers, to make it a multi-platform issue, and to make it an open movement in which people could get involved by defending this ideas with the use of the stickers.

The Artist

Paula Cruz is a Brazilian artist who defines herself as a designer witch + a badass illustrator. She studied in the school of fine arts in Rio de Janeiro, where she would later get her master's degree in PUC-Rio. She lived for a year in the Netherlands to study dutch typography, illustration and graphic design at the Willem de Kooning Academie. She's been a teacher of graphic design and illustration at Crehana and Miami Ad School since 2019.

Paula, as an artist and an empowered woman, she was the perfect fit to create the #boobstickers. From the first moment Paula understood what the stickers meant and how they should be so every women out there wanted to use them. As a liberal artist she made the project quite personal as it was aligned with her believes on how modern society should be.
